Women 0f Destiny Retreat
The theme for our Ladies retreat this year is Women of Wisdom. Gillian Butler will be speaking to us at our fabulous retreat in Canmore, May 22 to 24. Brochures are available on the foyer table, or you can call Karen Wilson at 932-1667. Don't miss out on this great weekend of refreshing!

 Summer Job Opening
We have a summer job position open here at CVCC for a general maintenance worker. We have received subsidy from the Alberta Government, so this temporary, full time (40 hours a week) position is only open to students - high school and up. Work will involve both outdoor and indoor maintenance with a variety of jobs and the pay is $10.50 an hour. If you are interested, please see Pastor Doug for an interview.
Water Baptism and Baby Dedication
Sunday, May 25th has been set for a special service. We will be rejoicing with baby dedications and water baptisms. Anyone interested, please see Cecil Rau or Pastor Doug.
Family in Need
Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you know of some needs. There is a couple from Kazakhstan who have just moved into a basement suite in town. They have a 15 month old boy and she is pregnant with twins, due in a month or so. If you have any of these items laying around that you want to give away then that's cool. Here's the list.
1. Iron and ironing board
2. Shelving
3. Some kind of a tub to bath their boy. (they only have a shower)
4. Riding toys
5. Crib
6. Newborn car seats X2

Church Spring Cleaning
Wednesday, May 21st has been set aside for the annual Spring Clean-up. Please put your work gloves on and join the church in tidying up the grounds and cleaning the interior. We always have fun working together and there will be fellowship and refreshments to close the evening. Bring the children and show them how the body works together even i in the most basic chores.
New PA Equipment - PRAISE THE LORD
 We have raised the needed funds to mount our new cd / dvd projector on the ceiling and make the best use of the new equipment. The equipment has been ordered and installation arrangements are being made.We are now looking to purchase a new lap top computer and worship software so we can replace the overheads with power point during our Worship Services. The estimated cost for this is $1,000. To contribute, mark your envelope “Worship Computer”. Any funds raised for the DVD mounting project that are not spent will be put towards this computer.
Living in the Anointing - Bible College Course - April 3rd to May 22nd.
 Dr. Rob is teaching this Bible Study course on Thursday evenings, from 7:00 to 9:15, April 3rd to May 22nd.
